Canada’s financial contribution doesn’t guarantee dollar-for-dollar contracts to Canadian companies, but the membership agreement promises Canada a “fair industrial return” on its investments and urges other countries to use Canadian space facilities, services and products. That’s led to past deals for Canada’s Kepler and MDA, among others.
