Foreign direct investment (FDI) has the potential to transform Canada’s economy—driving growth, innovation and competitiveness across sectors like green energy and technology. How can Canada ensure it’s an attractive destination for foreign capital?

The Logic’s executive editor April Fong sat down with Dan Breznitz, Munk Chair of Innovation Studies at the University of Toronto; Dr. Laura Dawson, executive director, Future Borders Coalition; and Shelly Kaushik, economist, BMO, with opening remarks from Jill Schnarr, chief communications and brand officer, TELUS on how Canada can shape policies to ensure it’s an attractive destination for foreign capital.
