Talking point: Following its acquisition of Toronto-based document-management startup Hubdoc, Xero opened its Toronto office last year. The company called this expansion “a major commitment to the Canadian market and Xero’s accelerating investments in North America.” Xero cited Toronto’s ranking in the 2020 Scoring Tech Talent Report (the city ranks as the fourth-best market) as one of the reasons for the decision.
