The Calgary-based gas station and convenience store company said it will use over $6.8 million in funding from Natural Resources Canada and British Columbia’s government to add chargers to Chevron and On the Run stations between Vancouver Island and Calgary. (The Logic)
Talking point: The company hopes to nearly triple the ultra-fast charging network in metro Vancouver and flesh out Western Canada’s rapid-charging network. MP John Aldag said in the press release that B.C. has “the highest electric-vehicle adoption rate in Canada and the entire continent.”
