Talking point: Indigo experienced a cybersecurity incident more than a week ago that has caused disruptions for its in-store payments system and kept its website offline since Feb. 8. On Monday, it started accepting debit, credit and gift card payments in stores again. The company says its plum points rewards program has been unaffected. Indigo has said its investigation “found no indication” of privacy concerns, but that it would contact impacted customers directly “if at any point in the future we determine that personal data has been compromised.” Montreal-based e-commerce company Ssense and grocery chain Sobeys have also experienced cyberattacks in recent months.
