Talking point: Carney told the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade Wednesday that he will work with provinces and territories to bring their carbon price benchmarks in line with the new federal standard, and that it would be part of his discussion with Eby that afternoon. He also told Carney at the start of their meeting that economic development must go hand in hand with environmental protections, including maintaining the tanker ban on the north coast of B.C.
