Nasdaq-listed biotech Onconetix will acquire RealLLC—a Realbotix subsidiary that makes humanoid robots for use in health care, education and hospitality—in an all-stock deal that will see Realbotix maintain majority control of the combined company. Talking point: Realbotix was born of a 2024 merger of Toronto-based crypto company Tokens.com and Simulacra, a Las Vegas company famous for its realistic sex dolls, which were featured in the 2007 film Lars and the Real Girl.
