Talking point: The partnership will also introduce product links that allow goods to be tagged in organic TikTok videos. All Shopify merchants in the U.S. and U.K. can access the pilot. Some Canadian merchants will be able to participate in the next several weeks, with additional regions added over the next few months. TikTok was reportedly testing an in-app shopping feature in Europe in May. Shopify announced a partnership with Google the same month that would help its merchants showcase their items on Google Search, YouTube, Google Images and other platforms more easily.
