Talking point: Crossing Minds’ clients include Penguin Random House, Danone and temporary-tattoo company Inkbox, whose CEO said it had “seen a huge gain” after integrating the platform in February. Radical has also invested in Inkbox. The Toronto-based venture capital firm recently expanded to San Francisco, adding Rob Toews as its first Bay Area partner. It has deployed most of its current fund—with recent investments including Untether AI and ClimateAI—and is planning to start raising its next one in the near future.
