Talking point: Getting boots down in Silicon Valley will help get word out to AI leaders that Toronto—and Radical—is a world leader in the field, said Jordan Jacobs, the firm’s co-founder and managing partner. The firm is mostly through its current fund and will begin raising its next one in the near future, and is adding “bench strength” with several other hires and promotions. Jacobs told The Logic that a big part of Radical’s investment thesis will be the intersection of climate science and AI, an area where he said Toews has shown acumen.
