Talking point: The company “is the first ghost kitchen operator of its kind to become a public issuer in North America,” said co-founder and CEO Jason Chen. It is also pursuing listings on the U.S.’s OTCQB Venture Market and Germany’s Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Just Kitchen also announced Thursday it opened its 14th satellite kitchen and second hub kitchen. Ghost kitchens, which don’t offer dine-in services, gained popularity during the pandemic. Walmart Canada recently partnered with Ghost Kitchen Brands to open some in its stores, giving customers access to more than 20 eateries from one location.
