Talking point: Oliver & Bonacini has partnered with Empire’s Sobeys and Farm Boy to deliver some of its dishes to customers in the Greater Toronto Area. Chefs in Farm Boy’s test kitchens will prepare and pack the ready-to-heat products, which can be ordered online for delivery through Sobeys’ Voilà service. Toronto-based General Assembly Pizza, which has pivoted to a subscription model and raised a $13-million Series A to fund it, filed a non-offering prospectus dated Feb. 26 to list its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange. Meanwhile, Walmart Canada has partnered with Ghost Kitchen Brands to open ghost kitchens within its department stores, allowing customers to order for pickup and delivery from more than 20 eateries.
