The company said its hard discount stores, a division including its No Frills and Maxi brands, outperformed its conventional brands. Loblaw has been prioritizing launching new discount stores, opening 19 Maxi and No Frills locations in the past quarter. CEO Per Bank said its market share of online sales is also growing. E-commerce sales for the quarter were up 18 per cent.
