The Montreal-based virtual-healthcare provider said the deal includes proprietary content, software and intellectual property of Toronto-based Koble, the maker of a platform that aims to support people during family planning, pregnancy and postpartum. Financial terms were not disclosed. (The Logic)
Talking point: The acquired content includes 500 videos and 130 articles, said Dialogue spokesperson Adrianna Lemieux in a statement to The Logic. Koble founder and CEO Swati Matta will join Dialogue as head of women’s health; Lemieux did not say whether the remainder of Koble’s staff is joining the company. Koble did not respond to a request for comment. The two firms previously announced a partnership in June, giving Dialogue members access to Koble’s content. Koble had raised a US$1-million seed round in 2021. Like other parent-tech startups, interest in Koble’s platform jumped during the pandemic. Dialogue itself was acquired by Sun Life last October.
