The company’s platform helps wellness professionals like nutritionists manage day-to-day operations such as scheduling and billing. The all-equity growth-funding round was led by Missouri-based Five Elms Capital. Practice Better said the funds will be used to expand its tech team and enter adjacent verticals, including chiropractors and mental-health service providers, CEO Nathalie Garcia told The Logic. Talking point: Garcia said she founded Practice Better in 2016 after encountering her own work-life balance challenges as a former nutritionist. “They’re so committed to the outcomes of their clients that they often give too much of themselves,” she said. “So, they really do need the tools to help them manage those day-to-day things … rather than spending countless unpaid hours on business administration.” The platform now has over 10,000 customers in more than 70 countries. Garcia said there’s “still a lot of ground to cover” in the U.S. and Canada.
