The mobile self-serve insurance platform plans to use the all-equity funding on education and marketing, with the aim of increasing usage of its app in Canada and the U.S. Vancouver-based Axis Insurance Managers led the round, with participation from Toronto’s Impression Ventures, Montreal VC firm Real Ventures and U.S.-based Manchester Story. The company indicated that their marketing efforts will focus on Gen Z and millennial customers.
