The Vancouver-based clothing retailer said its net revenue for the fourth quarter was $1.19 billion, up 32.6 per cent from the same time last year, led by strong growth in the U.S. (The Logic)
Talking point: As a result of the strong quarter, Aritzia’s net revenue for the year just surpassed $3.7 billion. It had set a goal of reaching $3.5 to $3.8 billion in net revenue in its 2027 financial year back in 2022. Having achieved that target a year early, the company will share a new strategic roadmap this fall, said CEO Jennifer Wong in a conference call with analysts. For now, it provided an updated outlook for the upcoming year, targeting $4.4 to $4.6 billion in net revenue. That is well above what analysts expected, wrote BMO analyst Stephen MacLeod in a note. Artizia plans to keep prioritizing a U.S. expansion, with most of its new store openings in the financial year planned south of the border.
