Talking point: TealBook, which uses artificial intelligence to give insights about organizations’ supplier bases, said its revenue grew 350 per cent since raising its Series A in January. Procurement data could be especially valuable for companies at a time when the global supply chain has experienced widespread disruptions. In a statement, S&P Global’s Annette O’Hanlon said TealBook’s technology could also help companies meet their ESG requirements. Lightspeed, another Canadian company, has also targeted supply-chain management as an area of opportunity, with plans to roll out its supplier network to more businesses over the next few months.
