Talking point: Zoho says its Canadian customer base has grown by 24 per cent year over year. Last September, it opened its first Canadian office in Cornwall, Ont., and its Canadian staff grew from nine people in 2022 to 17 this year, country head Chandrashekar Lalapet Srinivas Prasanna told The Logic. Some Canadian companies in the health-care, legal, financial and public sectors are required to store their data in the country and Zoho previously lost Canadian customers that needed to meet those regulations. “We hope that those customers will come back, but it enables us to serve other customer domains, as well,” said Zoho’s chief evangelist and head of Americas, Raju Vegesna.
