The Richmond, B.C.-based last-mile delivery firm said it raised US$30 million in a round led by Rockets Capital and secured a US$55-million credit facility from RBC. (The Logic)
Talking point: The financing brings the firm’s total funding raised to US$285 million. It raised US$70 million last year in its third financing round in less than a year. UniUni, which started as a restaurant delivery company, grew into serving clients including e-commerce giants Shein and Temu. The company now has more than 100 warehouses and delivers across 80 per cent of Canada and 65 per cent of the U.S., and is looking to expand further stateside. It plans to use the funds to add new machinery to its warehouses and continue to grow its business.
