Eon Media, which uses AI to generate detailed brand-exposure data for broadcasters, is launching pilots with U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Dibz, whose tech lets sports spectators upgrade their seats through their mobile devices, is in talks for pilots with NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves, among other sporting leagues, teams and venues. Both companies received US$50,000 from Comcast NBCUniversal in exchange for an equity stake in the firms. (The Logic)
