Resilia, a SaaS firm with offices in New Orleans and New York, helps non-profits manage and report their finances, and connects funders with groups they want to support. Other investors in the round included co-lead Panoramic Ventures, as well as SoftBank Group’s SB Opportunity Fund and Goldman Sachs Asset Management Fund. (The Logic)
Talking point: The round marks the largest investment in a “solo Black female-founded tech company,” as well as the largest venture capital investment in any woman founder in Louisiana, Resilia said in a press release. Resilia posted a 300 per cent surge in annual revenue growth, said the firm, which counts Oxfam America, the United States Tennis Association Foundation and Goldman Sachs’s One Million Black Women Initiative among its 15,000 users. “The non-profit sector has been historically underserved by technological innovations,” said Framework partner Ajay Gopal, adding that Resilia’s technology helps fill that gap.
