Talking point: The health unit’s growth came partly from increased adoption of the company’s virtual-care solutions. The company also highlighted its agriculture division, which it said it expects will generate double-digit revenue growth and bring in annual revenue of about $400 million this year. Telus plans for both divisions to follow the path set by Telus International, which was spun out as a public company in February in a record-breaking initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Telus International also reported its second-quarter earnings, again outpacing analysts’ expectations, according to Scotiabank.
