Talking point: The partners will encourage dispensaries to use Square’s tools, like inventory management, payment processing and compliance reports; and Jane’s platform to run online stores. They haven’t yet set an official launch date, but Square is offering an early-access program in which sellers can provide the platform with feedback. Roshan Jhunja, head of retail at Square, told The Logic the company wants to ensure its tools help dispensaries remain compliant in Ontario before it expands services to provinces with differing regulations.
