The provincial government’s Fonds pour la croissance des entreprises du Québec is providing $49.9 million of the all-equity financing round. Sherweb will use the money to expand further internationally, including via acquisitions. (The Logic)
Talking point: IT consulting firms and managed service providers use Sherweb’s system to buy and run cloud services, software licences and other tools on behalf of their clients. The firm says its 7,500 customers in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Ireland work with a combined 100,000 businesses and organizations. Sherweb is profitable, and revenues are growing at a double-digit rate, claimed Matthew Cassar, the firm’s co-CEO and co-founder. More than three-quarters of its almost 1,000 employees are based in Canada. Sherweb has already started making acquisitions, buying Dublin-based MicroWarehouse in December. It sold its Pulsar360 division to ClearlyIP in August 2025.
