Talking point: AI is currently driving the market for investing in private technology companies, with AI deals accounting for 63.3 per cent of the total raised in the 12 months through September 2025, according to PitchBook data. Radical’s recent additions to its early-stage portfolio include hiring tech firm Ribbon, developer toolmaker Unblocked, drug developer Intrepid and M&A software startup OffDeal. The venture firm also doubled down on flagship investment Cohere, co-leading the company’s latest US$600-million round. The new early-stage fund, incorporated in April, is Radical’s fourth. Attuned Intelligence also announced Tuesday that Radical had co-led a US$13-million seed round for the U.S. startup building AI agents for health-care call centres.
