Talking point: The team behind Taleo, a talent-management software company Oracle acquired for US$1.9 billion in 2012, founded Voilà! in 2016. It last raised $3 million in October 2019 in a round that included Investissement Québec and Panache Ventures, which also participated in the Series A. Voilà! plans to use the money to grow its business in the U.S. and Canada, as well as hire 50 more people over two years. It claims an annual growth rate of more than 300 per cent and said its clients include meal-kit provider Cook It.
