Talking point: Trolley’s latest round nearly equals the US$26.5 million the company has raised to date since 2016, according to PitchBook data. The company, which makes tools to reduce fraud and non-compliance, last raised US$17 million from undisclosed investors in October, but hasn’t disclosed its post-money valuation. Trolley will use the funds in part to expand its customer base beyond the more than 210 countries where payments are already accepted.
