Talking point: Inversago, which focuses on developing treatments for metabolic diseases, will also use the funds raised to accelerate other possible therapies that are in preclinical development. New Enterprise Associates led the round, which also saw participation from new investors Forbion Growth and Amgen Ventures, as well as existing investors including Fonds de solidarité FTQ. Inversago has previously raised a $47-million Series B and $7-million Series A.
