Talking point: Velix’s launch comes as third-party logistics businesses for companies like Amazon and Temu are being pushed to move more goods, quickly and with thin margins. In a press release, Luge partner David Nault said that while the logistics sector has invested heavily in moving goods more efficiently as volumes increased, there’s been little focus on improving the financial layer, which Velix is trying to address. The company is using the new capital to expand its product, customers and where it operates.
