Talking point: Founded in 2017, Flare identifies and manages its customers’ exposure to online threats. The company says the equity portion of the raise is an extension to the US$30-million Series B investment round it closed at the end of 2024. BetaKit reported that Flare used the funds to expand to the U.K. and increase its presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, reporting more than a 160 per cent jump in annual recurring revenue, without disclosing any dollar amounts. Flare CEO Norman Menz told the tech news site the company will use the raise to fuel its international growth.
