Talking point: MDA has landed a string of contracts since a group of Canadian investors repatriated the firm from Maxar Technologies in 2019. Last week, Ottawa-based satellite operator Telesat chose MDA to manufacture antennas for its satellites. The company announced on Monday that Vito Culmone—who previously served as chief financial officer for Shaw Communications and WestJet—will join the firm as CFO next month.
