Talking point: Lululemon has faced pressure to revamp its board and leadership team from founder Chip Wilson, who pushed for new board members and more “visionary creative leadership.” Heidi O’Neill started as the new CEO on Sept. 8 with expectations she would also re-staff other C-Suite roles: searches are underway for a chief communications officer and chief technology officer after those executives departed in August and early September. Gauger was previously CEO of rival athleisure company Athleta, which is owned by Gap, while Godsey was chief growth officer at Walmart Canada. Lululemon shares rose about one per cent by mid-afternoon Thursday.
