Talking point: Netflix apologized to the residents of Lac-Mégantic one week ago following increasing public outcry over the use of the images in the company’s hit movie, Bird Box, and the series “Travellers.” The week before, Netflix said it had no plans to remove the footage from Bird Box, but would not permit the use of the images in future projects. “Travellers” producers have said they are working on replacing the images in their show. Netflix said it had no comment on the motion.
