Talking point: Tiger partner John Curtius said in a statement that demand for competitive intelligence is “exploding” and “Klue is at the forefront.” Tiger, a New York-based venture capital firm known for making quick decisions and offering high prices, started participating or leading big financing rounds in Canada earlier this year with three deals in rapid succession. In May, it participated in funding rounds for Toronto chatbot Ada, Vancouver sales tool Dooly and Toronto quantum computing firm Xanadu. Since then, it’s also co-led a Series A for Toronto’s ResQ and led a round for Toronto’s Float Financial.
