Just two days ago, his cryptocurrency-trading platform FTX won an auction to acquire the assets of bankrupt Toronto Stock Exchange-listed crypto lender Voyager Digital. Celsius is another company with Canadian ties—the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and fellow investor Westcap are seeking representation in its bankruptcy proceedings. FTX counts the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan as an investor.
