Talking point: FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried has made yet another deal involving a crypto firm that fell on hard times following the summer’s crash. FTX, which counts the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan as an investor, is deeply entwined with Toronto Stock Exchange-listed Voyager. Bankman-Fried’s trading firm Alameda, which agreed last week to return about US$200 million worth of Bitcoin and Ether it had borrowed from the crypto lender, is a borrower, lender and investor to Voyager.
