Talking point: Dooly co-founder and chief executive Kris Hartvigsen told BetaKit that the pandemic-driven rise in investor interest prompted the company to raise more capital sooner than initially planned. The company saw significant growth in its user base throughout the pandemic as companies broadly moved to remote work, he said. Its team has increased from eight people in September to 22 today, with plans to grow to at least 50 staff by the end of 2021. The company said it will use its latest funding to accelerate growth, and invest in talent and product development.
