Talking point: Aging demographics are behind the interest in estate-planning solutions, said ClearEstate co-founder and CEO Davide Pisanu. “I think the reason is simply because you’re getting into a generation of people that have seen and personally experienced the pain and therefore see value in a platform that supports people in that particularly painful process,” Pisanu told The Logic. Aggravating the already-fraught process: more than half of Canadians have no will in place, according to a 2018 Angus Reid poll.
