Truaxe, who reportedly had a history of mental illness (which he denied) and substance abuse, founded Deciem in 2013. The company operates 10 skincare brands—including The Ordinary, which offers affordable skincare products—and is well-known for its transparency surrounding its products’ ingredients. –
