Talking point: The investment builds on Clearco’s plans to bring its fundraising products to new markets around the world. It said the Dublin office will help support its expansion into countries in Western and Central Europe, as well as the Nordic countries. The Logic previously reported that Clearco was looking to enter Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in addition to hiring staff in Singapore. The company noted that Ireland’s economy is expected to grow 15-plus per cent in 2022, but declined to specify a timeframe for investing the €100 million. “Ireland has one of Europe’s strongest economies and a dynamic startup sector,” CEO Michele Romanow said in a statement.
