The company said Friedmann’s “experience and acumen is ideally suited to lead CE’s next stage of commercialization and global expansion.” Carbon Engineering has made a slew of announcements recently, including: a deal for a commercial plant to produce fuel from carbon capture in Canada, a memorandum of understanding with Air Canada to find ways the airline can use its technology, and a partnership to build a direct-air capture commercial plant in Norway.
