Talking point: The sale underscores the Challenger 3500’s global popularity. First introduced in 2021, it reached more than 100 deliveries in 2024, record time in the super mid-size category, and delivered an estimated 150 jets in 2025. Meanwhile, the Federal Aviation Administration says it expects Transport Canada to certify Gulfstream private jets, after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to “decertify” and slap tariffs on Bombardier aviation products.
