Talking point: Founded in 2019, UniUni, which delivers parcels for Shein, Temu and other brands, relies on crowdsourcing technology to dispatch gigs to on-call drivers using their own vehicles. The company, which has raised US$60 million to date, expanded into the U.S. about a year ago, and now has more than 50 distribution centres in North America. The company will use the money to increase capacity, efficiency and accuracy by automating sorting centers at strategic locations across the United States, CEO Peter Lu said in a release. In July, co-founder Kevin Wang told The Logic UniUni intends to make a U.S. or dual-listed initial public offering in late 2025 or early 2026.
