Talking point: Zuckerberg, along with other tech CEOs, has conspicuously embraced the second Trump administration. In January, Meta ceased third-party fact checking on its platforms, with Zuckerberg calling the process “too politically biased” against conservatives. Meta also ended its DEI initiatives and appointed UFC CEO and Trump ally Dana White to its board. Zuckerberg has previously said that “Europe has an ever increasing number of laws institutionalizing censorship and making it difficult to build anything innovative there.”
