Talking point: Thomson Reuters Ventures said the investment will complement its “Know Your Business” strategy. Thomson Reuters Ventures, a US$100M VC fund, was launched in October 2021 to primarily invest in Series A and B rounds for companies focused on legal, tax and accounting, media, compliance and reducing risk and fraud services. Among other deals, the fund backed Ledgible, an Atlanta-based crypto tax and accounting platform, in June 2022 as its first investment.
