Talking point: Vive plans to use the funding to expand into new North American markets. The Mississauga, Ont.-based company uses nano-polymer technology in its suite of crop-protection products, allowing growers to minimize chemical applications to their crops. In May, the federal cleantech agency Sustainable Development Technology Canada selected Vive as one of 10 “Sustainability Changemakers.”
