Talking point: InBC, which was first created in September 2020, has a $500-million strategic investment fund with a triple-bottom-line focus that takes into account profits, people and the environment. Nguyen will first work on the organization’s investment-policy statement, CEO Jill Earthy told The Logic earlier this month, which will define how the fund makes investment decisions. Earthy noted that it will face “a bumpy road,” with a broad mandate and inability to please everyone. She expects the policy to be made public in late spring. The fund will soon announce a chief of strategy and operations.
