Talking point: The expansion comes as businesses seek to benefit from the Canada-United States-Mexico free trade agreement, Walmart said in a release. As part of the platform, sellers can use Walmart Fulfillment Services, the retailer’s supply-chain infrastructure for delivering products as fast as within one day as it gears up to compete with Amazon. Walmart has been investing in growing its technology and services, establishing new tech hubs in Toronto and Atlanta, securing a fleet of electric vans, building robotics-equipped warehouses and eyeing the metaverse as a sales platform.
