The lawsuit was filed in a U.S. district court in California earlier this week by Serena Fleites, the subject of a 2020 New York Times column that said Pornhub was “infested with rape videos.” The suit claims that in lending money to MindGeek, Redwood Capital Management and Colbeck Capital Management “fully understood” that the Montreal-founded, Luxembourg-based company behind Pornhub and other adult titles “was intentionally embracing child pornography and other non-consensual content” and allegedly financed and directly profited from that monetization.
